WATCHES & WONDERS BOOTH 2026
CARTIER
For Geneva International Haute Horlogerie exhibition – Watches & Wonders 2026, Cartier unveils its exhibition space. Studio Jean-Marc Gady has designed the architectural concept for the 500 m² space open to the public. Visitors are invited on a journey into the heart of craftsmanship and expertise, an experiential promenade through five sequential spaces.

From the entrance, visitors are welcomed into a huge area where a majestic table stands, presenting 11 iconic watches with open access. Above, an impressive inclined screen pierces the ceiling. A murmuration of particles dances, gathers, and converges to give rise to a panther. A poetic representation of the convergence of savoir-faire, this animation expresses the art of creating the unique by bringing together all areas of expertise.

The first area, dedicated to the re-edition of a watch, pays tribute to its design, conception, and aesthetic. An impressive engraving of the watch’s drawing faces an alcove that subtly references its universe. Like the timepiece itself, this space creates a rare balance between cutting-edge technology and traditional techniques.

In a warm, powdery atmosphere, the next area presents the exceptional dialogue between watchmaker and jeweller. Various alcoves adorned with pink marble house both watchmaking and jewellery pieces, connected by a cloud of forms in white marble, black marble, and gold leaf that converge toward a majestic hand-crafted stained-glass window. The aura of a panther stands over the room within this murmuration of coloured glass.

In this third area, an entire wall hosts a counter – referencing the workbenches of watchmaking workshops – displaying the different crafts. A wall composition above frames the display cases, creating a dialogue between gold leaf, enamels, marquetry, and granulation. A large window in the back wall offers a sensory experience expressing the exceptional fluidity of the watch bracelet. Through a play of reflections on mirrored links, a metal textile comes to life, revealing the full suppleness and complexity of the bracelet’s assembly.

In this final area, featuring a base composed of patterned wood, mirror lacquer, and velvety surfaces, an iconic watch is presented and celebrated through an animation. A frosted glass wall structured by a metal mesh holds at its centre the watch’s iconic dial shape. Behind its translucent panels, the components of the movement assemble in a poetic flight, settling into the complex form of the dial; a perfect demonstration of the movement enhancing the form.

At the end of this journey into craftsmanship and innovation, visitors discover an huge display showcasing a retrospective of more than 60 timepieces. An immersion into the exceptional formal repertoire of Cartier’s watchmaking creations.
